HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Through the tightly contested contest, the Sharks were the only team to find the back of the net on a pass downfield by Emma Trahant to Cierra Martin. Martin was able to beat the AMCAT defender and keeper to put the ball just passed the left post.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The AMCATS fell just one shot on goal short of the Sharks 17-18, with both teams having 11 shots on goal.
- Melanie Colman got her 2nd win after saving all 11 shots on net.
- Alice Yokabaskas (Farmingdale, ME) played 66 minutes in net for Anna Maria, where she saved all 7 shots faced.
