New Haven, CT: The Anna Maria Women's Soccer Team fell to conference opponent Albertus Magnus this evening on Celentano Field.

 THE BASICS:

Score: Albertus 6, Anna Maria 1

Records: Albertus (6-4-1, 3-3-1 GNAC), Anna Maria (3-7-1, 0-5-1 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  There were four total goals scored in the first half, three of which came from the Falcons Katherine Raposo (Warwick, RI) and two back to back from Haley Andrews (Prospect, CT).

-  The AMCATS were able to answer with a goal of their own just before the half on an unassisted goal by DeAnna Baker (Lansdale, PA).

-  Right after the half, Albertus tacked on three more to get the final of 6-1. Andrews opened the half with her third goal to complete the hat trick, followed by goals from Jenessa Perez (Oxford, CT) and Keegan Riccio (West Haven, CT).  


INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  The AMCATS were outshot 19 to 10 throughout the contest.

-  Sammara Streater (Hamden, CT) faced 5 shots on net saving 4 for the Falcons.

-  Rachel Matloff (Grafton, MA) faced 13 shots on net saving 7 for Anna Maria.
