Lady AMCATS Win on Senior Night

Paxton, Mass. – The Anna Maria women’s lacrosse team picked up their second win of the season with a 22-10 victory over visiting Wheelock college on Senior Night. Several records were set by the AMCATS on the night. With the win Anna Maria finishes the season with a 2-12 record while the Wildcats finish at 1-12.

Schebel Eclipses Two All-Time Records

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Katie Schebel (Ludlow, Mass.) scored 5 goals to run her season total to 47 goals (52 points) en route to eclipsing her own All-Time Season Record for Goals Scored (45) and Points (49) but it wasn’t enough as the Simmons’ women’s lacrosse team scored 16 goals in the first half to defeat the Anna Maria AMCATS 25-7 Tuesday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action.

BOSTON, Mass. –Emerson Women's Lacrosse Team Tuesday night put up 13 goals in the second half to collect their fifth win of the season, topping GNAC opponent Anna Maria 20-4 at Rotch Field in Boston. Mackenzie Johnson put up six goals and four assists in the outing as the Lions improve to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the conference. The AMCATS drop to 1-7 on the year and 0-5 in GNAC play.

Paxton, Mass – AMCAT senior Katie Schebel (Ludlow, Mass) led all players with six goals but it wasn’t enough as the Monks of Saint Joseph’s College defeated Anna Maria College by the score of 21-9 during a Great Northeast Athletic Conference women’s lacrosse matchup at AMCAT Field on Saturday afternoon. The win improves St. Joe’s to 2-0 (1-0 GNAC) on the year, while the AMCATS drop to 0-1 (0-1 GNAC) with the loss.
