WORCESTER, MA : After 622 days away, the Anna Maria College women's basketball team finally returned to action on Friday evening at the Worcester City Tournament hosted by Clark University, falling 67-24 to Worcester Polytechnic University (WPI) in the opener.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Anna Maria freshman forward Marinique Reddin (Tampa, FL) posted a strong start to her collegiate career as she led the AMCATS with eight points, nine rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block.
- Anna Maria senior guard Mariah Carey (Worcester, MA) returned to the team and finished with six points and three rebounds.
