Nashua, New Hampshire – Anna Maria College junior guard Katie Pryor poured in a career-high 30 points for the AMCATS in a season ending 95-84 loss to Rivier College in women’s basketball action on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Rivier improves to 19-6 and finishes with a 9-2 mark in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. Anna Maria completed the 2014 campaign with an 11-14 overall record and a 4-7 GNAC mark.

Paxton, Mass. – Junior forward Trafficia Warburton (Worcester, Mass.) led the Anna Maria College women’s basketball team with 18 points in a home loss (82-48) to Emmanuel College on Tuesday evening in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest at Fuller Activities Center. The AMCATS record dips to 10-12 overall and 3-5 in conference play while the Saints improve to 16-6 for the season and 8-0 in the GNAC. Both teams donned pink warm-up t-shirts as across the GNAC the teams celebrated the Play For Kay organization for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The AMCATS record dips to 8-9 (2-2 GNAC) while the Blue Jays move to 8-10 (1-3 GNAC) on the season.

Paxton, Mass. – Anna Maria College senior Taylor Walker (Winchendon, Mass.) posted her sixth double-double of the season as she scored 14 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds to lead the AMCATS to a 77-57 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win over the visiting Simmons College Sharks. With the win the AMCATS even their record at 8-8 (2-1 GNAC) while the Sharks dip to 2-10 (0-2 GNAC) on the season.
