AMCATS Celebrate Senior Day, Top Mount Ida 76-71

Paxton, MA – Sophomore Katie Pryor (Whitinsville, MA) scored a game high 21 points, leading the AMCATS to a 76-71 win over Great Northeast Athletic Conference rival Mount Ida College. Fellow sophomore Kaitlyn Patno (Lunenburg, MA) added 18 points, while junior Taylor Walker (Winchendon, MA) chipped in with 13 points to go along with a team high 16 rebounds.

Newton, Mass. (2/14/13) – Anna Maria College slipped past Lasell College, 64-60 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference women's basketball game at the Lasell Athletic Center on Thursday night. The AMCATS improved to 5-19 on the season and 1-10 in the league, while the Lasers fell to 9-15 on the year and 4-8 in conference contests.

Freshman center Morgan Cahill (Yarmouth, Maine) registered her seventh double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.

BOSTON, Mass. –The Emmanuel College women's basketball pushed past Anna Maria College, 86-46, Thursday evening at the Jean Yawkey Center.. With the victory, the Saints improve to 11-4 overall and 3-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action. The win was also the program's 32nd consecutive GNAC regular-season victory, tying them for the third-longest active D-III conference winning streak behind Amherst College (38) and Babson College (64). The loss drops the AMCATS to 4-11 and 0-2 in GNAC play.
