Men’s Soccer Falls Short To Albertus Magnus

PAXTON, MA : The Anna Maria College men's soccer team lost 3-1 to visiting Albertus Magnus College on Saturday at Carposo Field in Paxton, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In the 59^th minute, Anna Maria grad student midfielder Nick Lawrence (North Attleboro, MA) scored the AMCATS' sole goal of the game, assisted by junior forward Hezekiah Adeyeye (Woonsocket, RI), for his team-leading seventh goal of the season.
• Anna Maria freshman goalkeeper David Flores (San Antonio, TX) tallied three saves in net.
• Albertus Magnus Kelvin Cortez (Meriden, CT) led the Falcons on offense with two goals, while Arian Bobi (Amity, CT) netted the game-winner in the 76th minute.

Anna Maria will be back on the field on Wednesday when they travel to Norwich University for a 7:00 p.m. match.
