PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Lacrosse team fell to conference opponent Emmanuel College this evening 8-5 on AMCAT Field.
Records: Emmanuel 3-9, 3-2 GNAC. AMC 4-9, 2-4 GNAC.
After a very contested first half and an even score of 3-to-3 going into the second half the Saints took over led by Matt Katon who finished with a team high three goals. Steve Gervasio continued to find the back of the net with another two goals.
Brandon Pavoni (Granby, Mass.) led the AMCATS in scores with two on eight shots. Cameron Perry (Coventry, RI) finished with the most points for the 'CATS with three total after scoring one goal and finding two teammates for assists.
Goalies
Aric Graves got the win in net for the Saints improving himself to 3-7 on the season, after an eight save night while only allowing five goals.
Paul Schwarz (Staten Island, NY) was tagged with the loss dropping him to 2-7 so far this season. Schwarz made sixteen saves in the contest with only the eight goals allowed.
