PROVIDENCE- RI. - The Anna Maria men's lacrosse team took down Johnson & Wales on Tuesday night by a scored of 14-9, in conference action.

Of Note:
Johnson & Wales scored two goals in the first 3:38 of the game. Matt Gelb assisted on four man-up goals during a five-goal first quarter.
A quiet second quarter only yielded three total goals. Erik Lindaas scored his 19th goal of the season with 13:33 on the clock. Both teams were held scoreless for the final 9:06 of the half and JWU went into the locker room up 6-5.
After a Thomas Lyons goal five minutes into the second half, Anna Maria scored four unanswered goals in a span of 6:28 to take a lead it would not relinquish. Brandon Pavoni had three points in that run including two goals and an assist.
Another 4-0 AMCATS run started the fourth-quarter and sealed the victory. Pavoni ended the game with nine points, six goals and three assists.
