Men's Lacrosse Blown Past by Wentworth

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Lacrosse team was defeated by Wentworth this evening in non-conference action 21-5 on AMCAT Field.

 

For the Leopards (1-0) Kyle Doner stole the show with a game high four goals and nine assists. Jacob Eldred was able to match Doner with four goals and a ground ball. Calvin McKenna also was able to make his presence felt as he beat the AMCAT goalkeeper three times, along with Nick Gore who had another three. Ben Coakley ran the Wentworth offense with precision from the X as he dished out six assists along with scoring two goals of his own.

 

The AMCATS (1-2) Brandon Pavoni (Granby, Mass.) continues to shine as the main source of offense for the club, netting three more goals in the contest to give him eleven on the season. Ryan Rockwal (Chicopee, Mass.) rounded up the scoring for Anna Maria with two goals and a ground ball. Kyle Benning (Puyallup, WA) put in work on groundballs as he came up with five tying the game high.

Randy Ryan (W, 1-0) allowed 5 goals and had 5 saves.

Griffin Moore (L, 0-2) allowed 21 goals and had 11 saves.
