Batallas, Stralka Garner GNAC Recognition

Paxton, Mass. – Junior Nathan Batallas (Templeton, Mass.) and sophomore Lucas Stralka (East Greenwich, RI) have been named to the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Second Team as announced by the league office on Monday.
Men's Lacrosse Drops Season Finale at Mount Ida

NEWTON, Mass. – The Mount Ida College men's lacrosse team defeated the AMCATS of Anna Maria College on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 16-8. With the win, Mount Ida (9-7, 6-4 GNAC) has solidified the fifth seed in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and will travel to # 4 Norwich University on Wednesday afternoon in GNAC quarterfinal action.

Paxton, Mass. – Senior Rodrigo Henriques (Saugus, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal with four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Anna Maria College men's lacrosse team a hard-fought 12-11 win over visiting Johnson & Wales University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night at AMCAT Field. With the win the AMCATS move to 2-11 (2-5 GNAC) on the season while the Wildcats drop to 2-11 (0-7 GNAC).

Paxton, Mass. – Freshman Nick Johnson (Amherst, Mass.) scored four goals and dished out seven assists for an eleven point night to lead the Clark University men’s lacrosse team to a 17-7 victory over host Anna Maria College on Monday evening at AMCAT Field. BOSTON, Mass. – Eight different players scored to lead the Emmanuel College men’s lacrosse team past Anna Maria College, 15-3, Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Roberto Clemente Field. The win for the Saints was their sixth-straight, a program-record, as they improve to 6-3 on the year and 4-0 in the GNAC while the loss drops the AMCATS to 1-8 and 1-3.

The Albertus Magnus men's lacrosse team defeated Anna Maria College 10-6 Wednesday afternoon at Celentano Field in New Haven, Conn. The Falcons victory is the first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victory in program history. The Falcons improve to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference and the AMCATS fall to 1-7 on the season and 1-2 in the conference.
