Dalton Named Men's Lacrosse Coach

Paxton, Mass. – Anna Maria College has named Andrew Dalton as its men’s lacrosse head coach, as announced by Stanley Vieira, director of athletics. Dalton replaces Mark Lange, who resigned in May after two seasons on the sidelines for the AMCATS.
Anna Maria Falls to Norwich in GNAC Quarterfinals

NORTHFIELD, Vt.—Ten different players scored to lead the No. 1 Norwich University men’s lacrosse team to a 19-6 win against the No.8 AMCATS of Anna Maria College in the quarterfinal of the 2013 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tournament.

BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Scott Henry notched six goals and dished out three assists to lead the Anna Maria Men Lacrosse Team to a 15-7 victory over host Emerson College to close out the regular season. With the loss the Lions move to 2-9 on the year and 1-8 in conference play as Anna Maria improves to 6-9 overall and 3-6 in the GNAC. The AMCATS will now await the GNAC rankings to see where they will be headed for post-season play.
AMCATS Drop Heartbreaker to Becker, 12-11 on Senior Night

Paxton, Mass. – Anna Maria College dropped a crucial Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men’s lacrosse match-up to cross town rival Becker College, 12-11 on Tuesday Night at AMCAT Field. Becker senior Jeff Peterson (Syracuse, NY) converted a pass from freshman Cody Leary (Sandwich, Mass.) with twenty-five ticks on the clock to break the 11-11 deadlock and give the Hawks the victory.

Paxton, Mass. – Senior Jason Baker (Billerica, Mass.) poured in a game high six points (5 goals, 1 assist) but it wasn’t enough for the AMCATS as they dropped a highly contested men’s lacrosse match 15-12 to visiting Mount Ida College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at AMCAT field.
Lasers Power Past Anna Maria in Men's Lacrosse

Newton, Mass. (4/9/13) – The Lasell College men’s lacrosse team placed 11 different players in the scoring column on their way to a 22-7 victory over Anna Maria College. The Lasers pushed their record to 6-5 overall and 5-1 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference with the victory while the AMCATS fell to 5-7 for the 2013 campaign and 2-4 in the league.

Nashua, NH, Raider Field – The Rivier University Raiders (5-2, 1-1 GNAC) beat the visiting Anna Maria College AMCATS (2-6, 0-3 GNAC) 10-9 in a thrilling Great Northeast Athletic Conference match-up. The Raiders used a five goal 4th quarter, capped by a strike from freshman Kevin Dembkoski (Salem, NH) with 1:53 left, to pull out the conference win.
