Score: Post 3, Anna Maria 2

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The first score of the contest came from the Eagles just eight minutes in on a power play opportunity from Niko Grollman. He was found just off to the right side of the AMCAT tender by teammates Kieran Gardner and Jake Raleigh. It only took nine more minutes into the period for Anna Maria to tie it up at 1-1, when Jack Sitzman (Redondo Beach, CA) found the back of the net off of a perfect two touch pass by Gavin Proeh (Highland Park, IL) and Sam Cyr-Ledoux (Montreal, QC).

-  The second period would start off this time with the AMCATS striking first. 14:33 into the second the 'CATS were able to capitalize on a power play opportunity. Cyr-Ledoux beat the Post tender on a rebounded shot from Patrick Manning (Messena, NY) to gain the upper hand 2-1. However, it only took the Eagles four minutes more to tie it up once again at 2 all. This time for the orange and purple it was Anthony Giacomin who was able to sneak the puck past Julius Huset (Oakdale, MN).

-  It was 2-2 going into the third period until 9:34 in when Post was on another power play. They did not waste the opportunity and netted the go ahead goal off of William Francis' stick. This would be the only goal scored in the third to get the final of 3-2.
