PAXTON, Mass: Tonight the Anna Maria Men's Ice Hockey team fell to Franklin Pierce by a score of 5-2 in Ridge New Hampshire.
The Ravens (1-1) had five different players score in tonight's contest. It started with Sean Crowley 8 minutes into the first period with assists from Blaise Kilroy and Mark Indelicato. Just 8 minutes later Anthony Nikolopoulos added to Franklin Pierce's lead off of a pass from Alex Lester and Mark Indelicato. James Morrissey was able to tally one more in the second period in the 18th minute in, as he was fed from Alex Lester and Nate Indelicato. The Ravens would go on to score two more in the third as Blaise Kilroy and Nate Indelicato were able to beat the goaltender.
The AMCATS (0-2) were able to put up two with one goal coming in the second period and the last in the third. Jack Sitzman (Redondo Beach, CA) struck first for Anna Maria just 1 minute into the second period, he was assisted by Sam Cyr-Ledoux (Montreal, QC) and David Pfoestl (Merano, ITA). The last goal scored was off the stick of Nick Kukuris (Littleton, CO) on the power play with some help from Sitzman and Kevin Kaufman (Medway, Mass.).
