Men’s Basketball Falters At Lasell

NEWTON, MA: The Anna Maria College men's basketball team lost 99-64 at Lasell University on Saturday in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action in Newton, Massachusetts.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Anna Maria freshman forward Jayden Dickerson (Springfield, MA) finished with a career-high 11 points in just 12 minutes of court time, with six rebounds.
• Lasell senior guard EJ Day (Norwalk, CT) led the Lasers with 20 points and eight assists.
• Anna Maria sophomore forward Gabe Armstead (Dallas, GA) finished with nine points and a team-high seven rebounds.
• Lasell senior forward Kevin Vanderhorst (Lawrence, MA) posted a double-double with 16 points and 16 boards, while senior forward Jonathan Friberg (North Attleboro, MA) added 16 and 11 rebounds.
• Anna Maria freshman forward Sean Zabari (Miami, FL) came off the bench and scored seven points with two rebounds.
