Men's Basketball Stumbles to Albertus

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Basketball Team fell to conference opponent Albertus Magnus this evening 59-81 in New Haven, Connecticut.

 

The Falcons (9-3, 1-0 GNAC) Damian Grant was able to complete the Double-Double, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Tyreek Perkins had a team high 15 points along with 4 steals, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds.

 

Anna Maria (5-10, 1-1 GNAC) had the game leading scorer in Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass.) who ended with 16 points and helped the AMCATS out score Albertus in the second half 40-39. Perette also tallied 2 rebounds with 2 assists. Anthony Buckley's (Haverhill, Mass.) presence was also felt as he went 5-8 from the floor to put up 11 points. Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass.) accumulated just under half of the teams rebounds with 21 boards, a new season high.
