Men's Basketball Out Shot by Monks

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Men's Basketball was downed by the Monks of St. Josephs of Maine this afternoon in non-conference action 88-70, in Bristol Rhode Island.

 

St. Josephs (2-2) had two 20 point finishers, Jack Casale and Darian Berry who ended with 21 points apiece. Casale also had the team high in rebound as he ended with 8 boards. Marc Corey had himself a perfect day from the floor as he was able to finish shooting 100% (6-6 FG, 4-4 3-point) for 17 points to go along with 4 rebounds.

 

The AMCATS (1-3) spread the ball around in the contest, ending with four players in double digits. Mike Rapoza (Charlton, Mass.) and Sidney Limage (Randolph, Mass.) finished with the team high 13 points. Rapoza was able to extend the double-double streak to four games as he was able to come down with 13 rebounds. Bobby Perette (Marshfield, Mass.) finished just one score short as he accumulated 12 points going 4-10 from the floor just below 50%.
