Franklin Named to GNAC All-Conference Third Team

Paxton, Mass. – Senior Quantez Franklin (South Yarmouth, Mass.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Third Team as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

It is the first postseason accolade for Franklin in his three-year career. In 24 games for the AMCATS, Franklin averaged a team-best 12.8 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game.

Franklin compiled 307 points connecting on a team-high 128 field goals. He ranked in the top 10 in the GNAC in rebounds and top 20 in points per game.

Freshman Shaun Garner (Margate, Fla.) was named to the leagues' sportsmanship team.

The AMCATS compiled a 9-16 overall record and a 7-11 conference mark under the tutelage of eighth year Head Coach Shawn Conrad. Anna Maria garnered the sixth seed in the conference tournament.
