PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Field Hockey team out lasted Becker College 2-1 in a non-conference game at AMCATS Field on Tuesday evening.

First Half
Nikki Streete (San Jose, CA) of the AMCATS and Baileigh Griese of Becker were able to hold their respective opponents scoreless throughout the first half as Streete was able to make four saves to Griese's two.
Second Half
Just 2 minutes and 30 seconds into the second half, Anna Maria ended the scoreless streak and took a one to zero lead on a shot from Lauren LaPierre (Worcester, Mass.), who was assisted by Allyson Shaw (Holden, Mass.) and Chayna Bingham-Hendricks (Mashpee, Mass.). The lead lasted until Abigail Leahy of the Hawks scored off of a putback from Amy Cooper in the 65th minute. It didn't take long for the AMCATS to respond as LaPierre was able to net the game winner and her second goal of the game on a putback from Allyson Shaw.
