Nick Voorhees enters the Anna Maria College coaching staff for the 2019-2020 season and will be designated as the Wide Receivers coach.

Coach Voorhees comes to Anna Maria College after spending the last two years at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. While there he spent time coaching both the Wide Receivers in 2017 and the Running Backs in 2018.

Prior to his time at Mary, he was the Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receivers coach at Freedom High School in Orlando, FL. While there he coached two All-District performers and also served as a Bowl Scout for the Inaugural AutoNation Cure Bowl between teams from the American Athletic Conference and the Sun Belt Conference.

Coach Voorhees also spent four seasons as the Wide Receivers Coach at Lake Minneola High School in Minneola, FL, where he helped the program make an appearance in the Florida State Play-offs in just the school's third year of existence.

Nick grew up in the Tampa, FL area where he started his coaching career as the Defensive Backs coach at his alma mater of Bloomingdale High School. That year the Bloomingdale secondary finished in the top 5 for interceptions in Hillsborough County.

Coach Voorhees graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2013 with a degree in Sports & Fitness with specialization in Coaching.
