Bio

Zachary Gandara was formally named the ESports Director of Anna Maria College in March of 2022.

Gandara brings a wealth of experience to the AMCATS' newest program, having spent two years as the Director and Coach of Providence College eSports with 18 post season appearances including two Eastern College Athletic Conference championships. He is also an award-winning filmmaker who has worked on independent feature films, documentaries, short films, and Netflix productions. 

A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Gandara graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Master of Education in Higher Education. He is a former collegiate Overwatch and Counterstrike player.
