Bio

Tammy Barton was named head coach of the Anna Maria College Equestrian Team in October 2018.

While coaching at Anna Maria, Tammy has helped lead Isabelle Smith (Shrewsbury, MA) to back to back Regional qualifications. She has also helped each rider place within the top five on numerous occasions.     

She is the owner and operator of the Integrity Equestrian Center, a boarding and training facility in Holden, Massachusetts, and is also an accomplished rider herself. Tammy competes in the Hunter and Equitation Rings and is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist for her skills in Dressage.

She began riding at seven years old under the instruction of Dixon George and Barbara Keifer. “I credit them for giving me an amazing foundation of knowledge and skills, as well as the countless professionals I have had the pleasure of riding with over the course of my career.”

Tammy enjoys teaching amateur, junior, and young riders of all levels and disciplines. She has taught at numerous IEA high school teams and ISHA college teams and is excited to help Anna Maria College grow this program.
