Trifiro Earns Reserve High Point Rider; Equestrian Places Eighth At Becker College Show
PAXTON, MA - The Anna Maria equestrian team posted an eighth-place finish this past Saturday at the Becker Equestrian Center. Here is a rundown on how the squad performed:
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jocelyn Trifiro (Templeton, MA) headlined the day for the AMCATS with a first-place finish in over fences and second place in flat limit division. Trifiro also notched reserve high point rider honors for the entire show.
- Isabelle Smith (Worcester, MA) earned the other AMCATS first place honor on the day when she won the walk-trot-canter portion of the show. Grace Bond (Medfield, MA) was not far behind as she took second place in the walk-trot-canter.
- Katie Barnes (West Brookfield, MA), Gina Carbone (Scarborough, ME), and Gina Houghton (Paxton, MA) rounded out the placements in the walk-trot-canter event with fifth and sixth place finishes respectively.

Anna Maria returns to action on Saturday, October 26th when they travel to UMass Dartmouth for an 8:00 AM show.
