Baseball Falls to Brandeis

- WALTHAM, MASS: The Anna Maria baseball team fell to non-conference opponent Brandeis University this afternoon. They were only able to get in five innings due to weather and finished with a 9-1 score.

 THE BASICS:

- Date: 4/21/2021

- Score: Brandeis 9, Anna Maria 1

- Records: Brandeis (10-3), Anna Maria (12-7)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Brandies jumped to a quick 2-0 through one inning. The Judges added onto their lead in the bottom of the third inning, with another six coming across the plate. The AMCATS tallied their lone run in the top of the third. That run came on a solo home run by Adam Twitchell (Shrewsbury, MA).  

-  The top performers on the day for the AMCATS were James Powers (Folsom, CA), Nick Morley (Millbury, MA), and Twitchell. Powers finished the game perfectly, going 3-for-3. Morley also was perfect on the day, finishing 2-for-2.  

 UP NEXT:

- Anna Maria returns to action on Friday when they return home to face Lasell University in GNAC action at 3 & 5 PM.
