AMCAT Baseball Coach Dave McNamara Featured in, Where are they Now?

Not many players anywhere can boast of the accomplishments that shine prominently on Anna Maria College's head baseball coach Dave McNamara's resume. More than 1,800 career points in basketball and a .340 career batting average on the diamond. His excellence didn't end when his Clark career did, however. He's still making a difference but now it's from the dugout and in the classroom.
Wodatch Earns ECAC Selection

Paxton, Mass. – Anna Maria College senior Kevin Wodatch has been selected to the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Baseball All-Star Second Team as announced by the conference. This is the second selection for the Wallingford, CT native.

In addition, four major award winners were also named for their respective contributions to the success of their baseball programs.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Stephen Wadsworth (Wayland, Mass.) went 2-for-4 with three runs, as the Crusaders defeated Anna Maria, 15-2 in non-conference baseball action on Saturday afternoon at Fitton Field. With the win, Holy Cross advances to 26-23 on the season, while Anna Maria falls to 15-20 overall.

LEICESTER, Mass. – Senior Justin Hyland (Spencer, Mass.) smashed two homeruns to lift Anna Maria College to a 7-5 win over Becker College in non-conference baseball action Wednesday afternoon at Rochdale Park. The win ups the AMCATS record to 15-19 while the Hawks fall to 11-24.

Newton, Mass (4/9/13) – The Lasell College baseball team earned a sweep of Great Northeast Athletic Conference foe Anna Maria College, winning 10-7 and 5-0 in the contests. Lasell improved to 11-14 overall and 7-5 in conference play while Anna Maria dropped to 13-16 on the season and 7-7 in league action.

With the win the AMCATS improve to 13-14 overall and 7-5 in conference play, while the Lions drop to 1-22, 1-9 GNAC on the season.
