This week marks the final week of the spring semester. The athletic department is highlighting AMCAT senior athletes during the AMCAT Senior Week. This Senior Salute honors the lone women's lacrosse senior, Haley Morin. The final home game on Caparso field would of been Saturday, April 18, 2020 for Haley. The season was suspended in response to COVD-19. The AMCATS were off to a 2-1 start and were riding a two-game winning streak.

"Although I only had the privilege of not even a full year with Hayley, I've never met someone who will smile (probably in pain) during a run test. Hayley is the type of player your team needs. She's not shy to ask questions, she's coachable and willing to learn, and can trip herself with her own stick a heck of a lot better than anyone else could. She's genuine and kind, and showed great strides with not only her stick work over the couple of months we got to work together, but her speed and endurance as well. That resilience and dedication is something the real world is not ready for. I'm so excited to see what this soon to be Fire Science and Emergency Management young woman is going to do in a few short weeks---I know however she does it, it'll be filled with class, a big grin, and an open mind to the endless amount of opportunity.
