"Deyarna, more than most players made the absolute best out of four years with this program. She enjoyed every moment and gave us all great memories. Her sophomore year came with a lot of promise, unfortunately was cut short due to a season ending knee injury eight games in. After some complications with her surgery, Deyarna then had to sit out her entire junior season to recover. However, Deyarna has returned this year and started 11 of the 20 games she has played, and provided a much-needed spark to our team in those games, as well as in practice on a daily basis. What most don’t know, throughout all of her medical and personal ups and downs, Deyarna was around the team. Being out an entire season is extremely tough but she was always around the team. She enjoyed practice, road trips, team travel, and mishaps along the way." - Head Coach Kevin Bigelow '04

" During the AMCATS 2019 playoff push, Sienna came through with a number of important scoring plays and huge defensive stops to help us earn the fifth seed. We will miss her impressive statistics that Sienna brought, but most of all we will miss her infectious energy for the game of basketball, and her quick wit. Most of her witty sarcasm will be missed." - Head Coach Kevin Bigelow '04

" Like her twin sister Sienna, came to Anna Maria following a two-year career at Massasoit Community College, where she also earned her Associate’s Degree. Sierra’s impact on the AMCATS program has been invaluable over the last two years. She is one of the most consistent players to come through this program in the last decade. Her very calm demeanor helped her to achieve that consistency. But what will be missed most of all, is her overall good nature." - Head Coach Kevin Bigelow '04

#22 Sierra Johnson

SIERRA JOHNSON

Congratulations, Deyarna, Sienna and Sierra for all that you have accomplished as a student-athlete at Anna Maria College. Thank you for your endless commitment, energy, hard work and for everything you did for the women's basketball progam, the athletic department and Anna Maria College. We wish you all the happiness and success as you tackle the world post-graduation. You will always have a second home here at Anna Maria College. #AMCATNation #UnitedAsOne
