Volleyball Blanked by Rhode Island College
- PROVIDENCE, RI: The Anna Maria Volleyball Team fell to the Anchormen of Rhode Island this evening in non-conference action.

- Records: RIC (2-6), Anna Maria (1-4)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The AMCATS found themselves down early and couldn't find an answer for Jessica Brielmaier (West Greenwich, RI) who tallied 7 kills throughout the match.
- Jacqueline Jutras (Foster, RI) had a game high in assists for the Anchormen with 24 and 2 service aces.
- The AMCATS offense was led by sophomore Jenna Grande (Whitman, MA) who accumulated 5 kills. Grande also led the AMC defensively with 10 digs.
- Ryann Hassett (North Oxford, MA) was the main outlet for Anna Maria to set the ball in the contest, as she racked in 14 assists along with a team high 4 service aces.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- RIC finished with 33 kills compared to the AMCATS 18.
- Anna Maria also fell short in assists to the Anchormen 17 to 31.
- The AMCATS were able to out dig Rhode Island College 37 to 25.
