HOW IT HAPPENED

The AMCATS had to battle back in the first set, as Suffolk controlled the early points. The Rams cut the lead to one at 19-18, but Anna Maria held on for the 25-21 victory.

Anna Maria used a 17-kill performance with a .455 hitting efficiency to dominate the second set. The third set saw neither team lead by more than two points until Anna Maria took a three-point lead at 15-12, which was part of a five-point run. The AMCATS held their opponents to just six more points after that en route to the 25-18 win.
