Women's Soccer Falls to Emmanuel in Final Home Contest

- PAXTON, MASS: The Anna Maria Women's Soccer team fell to GNAC opponent Emmanuel College this morning on Caparso field by a score of 9-1.

 THE BASICS:

- Score: Emmanuel 9, Anna Maria 1

- Records: Emmanuel (9-8, 8-3 GNAC), Anna Maria (3-10-1, 0-7-1 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Saints were able to put up four goals in the first half, two coming from Kaylin Deschenes.

-  Emmanuel tacked on five more in the second half, with Hannah Sheskey netted two of her own.

-  Shannon LeBlanc (Lancaster, MA) scored her first goal of her senior campaign on a free kick from outside of the 18.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  The AMCATS were outshot by the Saints 24 to 7.

-  Alyssa Crugnale stays perfect at 5-0 on the season after saving 5 shots.

-  Alice Yokabaskas (Farmingdale, ME) played the majority of the game in net making 5 saves.

- Anna Maria returns to action on the 30^th as they travel to Johnson & Wales for a 7:30 pm start to end the season.
