Women's Soccer Charged by Colby-Sawyer

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Soccer team was upended by conference opponent Colby-Sawyer 12-2 this afternoon in New London, New Hampshire.

 

The Chargers (7-7, 7-5 GNAC) had nine players score in the contest, of those nine two completed the game with multiple goals. Hannah Fields led Colby-Sawyer in scoring as she finished on three opportunities. She was seconded by Amanda Martin who finished with two goals of her own.

 

The AMCATS (0-16, 0-12) were led by freshmen Keannah Dunsmore (Georgia, VT) who put together a multiple goal match with two. Shannon Leblanc (Lancaster, Mass.) was awarded an assist on one of Dunsmore's goals.

 

Colby-Sawyer will be back at home Tuesday to play Castleton University.

 

Anna Maria completed their season and will be back next fall looking to build off this season and improve in the off season.
