Women's Soccer Falls to Blue Jays on Senior Night

Paxton, Mass: The Anna Maria College Women's Soccer team was defeated Wednesday night in conference play by the University of Saint Joseph's by a score of 9-0 on AMCAT Field.

 

Anna Maria College (0-14, 0-10 GNAC), University of St. Joseph's (6-5-1, 4-4-1, GNAC)

 

The Blue Jays shared the wealth as nine people tallied goals in the contest. Rylee Snow led St. Joe's with seven shots with five on net and a goal, including two assists. Also, Ariana Gazaferi, Sierra Romie, and Lotte Van Wanroij all finished with one goal and one assist at the end of the match.

 

The AMCATS were led by freshmen Keannah Dunsmore (Georgia, Vermont) who put up two of the three shots by Anna Maria. Rachel Matloff (Grafton, Mass.) accumulated sixteen saves throughout the Contest.

The Blue Jays will be back in action on Saturday against Colby-Sawyer this Saturday at 12:30 PM.

 

The AMCATS will be on the road against Emmanuel on Saturday for another conference game, with action starting at 3:00 PM.
