Women's Soccer Ends in a Flash

Paxton, Mass: The AMCATS of Anna Maria faced the Rams of Suffolk University this evening in Boston, where they fell 9-0 in conference action.

Suffolk (1-3, 1-1 GNAC) was led by freshmen Julia Hunt who scored three of the Ram's nine goals in the first half. Also, for Suffolk freshmen Carley Pearce and sophomore Caleigh O'Brien both had two goals each in the contest.

The AMCATS (0-4, 0-2 GNAC) were out shot by the Rams twenty-nine to zero in the first half. The game was called in the 71st minute in the second half due to lightning. Anna Maria freshmen goalie Rachel Matloff (Grafton, Mass.) put together ten saves in the Match.

The Ram's women's soccer team will be back on the field this Saturday the 15th at 3:00 PM to face another conference opponent in Colby-Sawyer.

As for the AMCATS they head back on the road this Friday all the way to Norwich University to play another conference match starting at 3:00 PM.
