Women's Lacrosse Falls to Falcons

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Lacrosse team ends their season with a loss dealt by conference opponent Albertus Magnus this evening in New Haven, CT by a score of 15-5.

 

Records AMC 6-11, 3-8 GNAC. ANM 0-13, 0-11 GNAC.

 

Korina Zelaya had the game high in goals in tonight's contest for the Falcons with four goals. Kaitlyn Ellsworth also had a game high with hers coming in the way of total points with five as she finished with three goals and two assists.

 

Bryce McDonald (Dracut, Mass.) led the AMCATS in scoring with three goals, setting a new personal best. Sierra Green (Lewiston, ME) and Aby Chapdelaine (East Longmeadow, Mass.) rounded up the scoring for Anna Maria as they both were able to score a goal in their final game of the season.

 

Goalies

 

Lexie Fenn got the win in net for the Falcons with five goals allowed and six saves.

 

Emma Walsh (Dracut, Mass.) suffered the loss after allowing fifteen goals. Walsh also had a season high twenty-seven saves.

 

The AMCATS will look to build upon their first season back this offseason and continue to grow as a program.
