Women's Lacrosse Score Season High in Loss to Rivier

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Lacrosse Team dropped a conference match up with Rivier University 20-5 on AMCATS Field.

Records: Rivier 1-5, 1-3 GNAC. Anna Maria 0-7, 0-6 GNAC.

The Raiders Marin Owens was all over the field as she put together a twelve-point day, with six goals and six assists. Dzenana Omerovic was just behind her with five goals on the evening.

Ashley Rufo (Pittsfield, Mass.) completed the hat trick for the AMCATS on three free position shots in the first half. Bryce McDonald (Dracut, Mass.) found the back of the twice, scoring her first two goals in her Collegiate career.

Goalies

Courtney Laperriere (W, 1-4) allowed five goals and was able to make five saves.

Emma Walsh (Dracut, Mass.) (L, 0-5) allowed the twenty goals and was able to make twelve saves.

Anna Maria will be back in action this Saturday as they will play cross town rivals Becker College, play will begin at 1:00 PM.
