Women's Lacrosse Falls to Bucs

PAXRTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Lacrosse Team was unsuccessful in taking down Mass Maritime in non-conference action this evening, falling 20-0 on AMCAT Field.

 

Records: MMA 4-3, AMC 0-6.

 

The Buccaneers had two players reach five goals in the contest, with Anna Deely being one who also gained an assist. Alyssa Blumenthal was the second to reach the five goal mark, going 5-for-5 on shot to goals. Casey Sullivan was very active on the offensive side, with her finishing with three goals and six assists. Cammi Balentine also found the back of the net three times and had an additional two assists.

 

The AMCATS were unable to get a shot off in the game, but goalie Emma Walsh (Dracut, Mass.) was able to make seven saves in the game. Mylori Aubuchon (Fitchburg, Mass.) did lead the team in groundballs, as she totaled three on the night.

The AMCATS will be back in action this Wednesday at 7:00 PM, as they get set to take on Rivier.
