Bio

Sarah Quigley is entering her third season as an assistant coach with Anna Maria College women’s hockey team. A former goaltender she has been instrumental in the continual development of the AMCATS netminders. Under her direction, the AMCATS have seen a dramatic improvement in its tenders.

During the 2018-19 campaign, Quigley helped both of the AMCAT goaltenders to strong seasons, finishing with both saving over 90% of the shots they faced for a total of 714 saves.

Before joining Anna Maria, Quigley coached for two seasons at Canton High School. Under her guidance, Canton goaltenders posted a .955 and .946 save percentages leading the Bulldogs to back to back State Championship appearances.

A native of Canton, Massachusetts, Coach Quigley played collegiately at Buffalo State College graduating in 2016 with a degree in exercise science. Prior to Buffalo State, she played for the National Sports Academy, Lake Placid, New York.

After graduation, Quigley was drafted by the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL). Her coaching career also includes three summers as a goalie instructor. She is currently a goalie director with Stop It Goaltending.

Quigley is pursuing her master’s degree in exercise science.
