Seahawks Blank Women’s Hockey On The Road
Newport, RI: On Saturday night Nov 26, the Anna Maria College Women's Ice Hockey team Traveled to Newport, RI to face off against the Salve Regina Seahawks. The AMCATS lost 2-0.
THE BASICS:

HIGHLIGHTS
- To start the game the AMCATS dropped a quick goal 4:43 into the first period putting Salve up 1-0.
- The AMCATS were'nt able to hold the Seahawks off for long as they were met with another Goal scored 13:32 into the first period. The AMCATS closed out the first trailing by two.
- Despite two quick goals in the first from Salve. The Seahawks were held off in the second and third by Anna Maria Goaltender Julia Smith who put up a resounding 35 saves to keep the Seahawks at bay.
- Smith Posted 50 saves on 52 shots to give the AMCATS a fighting chance.
- The AMCATS went 5 for 5 on the penalty kill against the Seahawks.
