PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Hockey team fell to Franklin Pierce this afternoon 3-0 in non-conference play at the New England Sports Center.
The Ravens (16-9-1) kept a steady stream of shots going on net throughout the contest, ending with a total of 66 shots. AMCAT (2-14-1) tender Gabi Ohanesian fell three saves short of her season high with 63 saves and only 3 goals allowed.
Gabi held Franklin Pierce to just the one goal scored in the first period on a power play by Nicole Amato until 16:18 into the third period. When Marissa Massaro was finally able to beat Ohanesian on the double deflection. Massaro was followed up by another goal two minutes later by Hailey Parker to finish off the contests scoring at the final of 3-0.
