PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Hockey Team was victorious this evening in Pennsylvania against Kings PA, by a score of 2-0.

The Monarchs (1-19) were only able to put 31 shots on target, but were not able to put any pucks home. A big part of that was due to the performance of player of the week Gabi Ohanesian (Bozeman, MT) in net. Gabi racked up 31 saves in the shutout this evening.

The AMCATS (2-13) struck early on, getting both of their goals in the first period. McKenna Naumchik (Somers Point, NJ) was responsible for the first goal of the contest. She was assists by Mackenzie Turcotte (Kenora, ON) and Julianne Nelson (Armstrong, BC). The last goal of the contest was scored by Riley Cote (Tewksbury, Mass.), this goal would wrap up all scoring in the game giving Anna Maria the 2-0 win.
