Women's Hockey Falls to Post

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Hockey team was defeated by the Eagles of Post University this evening 3-0 in non-conference action at the New England Sports Center.

 

The Eagles (3-10) had three players score in the game, starting with Paige Dundas who was able to score the only goal in the first period, from Sierra Alarid and Kalena Mueller. Post was able to add onto their lead with two more goals in the second period, the first coming from Kendall Fitzgerald 4 minutes into the period. The second and last goal of the contest was scored by Mueller, with the assist coming from Kayleigh Miller 17 minutes into the period.

 

The AMCATS (1-5) goalie Gabi Ohanesian (Bozemen, MT) kept the game close as she finished the contest with 37 saves. Anna Maria took twenty-six shots, with ten of them coming from Juianne Nelson (Armstrong, BC).
