Women's Hockey Bested by Rams

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Ice Hockey team fell to the Suffolk University Rams in their first ever home game in program history by a score of 4-0 at the New England Sports Center.

 

Suffolk (1-2) Had four players score in the contest with three goals coming in the first period and one in the second. Payton Dockus started the Rams off 13 minutes into the first period as she was able to beat the goaltender off of the assists by Madison Duff and Stephanie Moy. Four minutes later Tess Adams found the back of the net from Sydney Jordan and Izzy Hendry. The last goal in the first, came in the last minute from Shana Cote off a pass from Tess Adams and Grace Scholz. The scoring would end in the second period after Jesse Kennedy was able to get the goal after a pass from Haley Poloskey.

 

The AMCATS (0-3) were only able to take four shots in the contest with two coming from Juianne Nelson (Armstrong, BC) and Riley Cote (Tewksbury, Mass.).
