Women's Basketball Clipped by Rams

PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Basketball Team was defeated by Suffolk University 87-61 in conference action this evening in Boston.

 

The Rams (14-4, 6-0 GNAC) continue their win streak as it now grows to six games in conference play. Jenni-Rose DiCecco was a key factor in the victory, with her game high 26 points. Marissa Gudauska also finished with a contribution of 20 points in the contest. Suffolk also had a Double-Double by Alexis Hackett as she put up 17 points and a game high 11 rebounds.

 

The AMCATS (5-14, 2-4 GNAC) were kept in the game early in the first and third quarters by Sierra Johnson (Brockton, Mass.) who ended with a team high 21 points. Amber Wilson (New York, NY) finished with a team high 6 rebounds to accompany her 13 points and another game high 5 blocks. Sienna Johnson (Brockton, Mass.) also was a large contributor as she accumulated 12 points of her own.
