Sierra Johnson Drops 18 in Women's Basketball Loss

PAXTON, Mass: 80-50 was the final for the Anna Maria Women's Basketball Team this evening in their first conference match up with Albertus Magnus in New Haven Connecticut.

 

The Falcons (13-1, 1-0 GNAC) continue their impressive season with getting a 13th win at the start of conference play. Albertus ended the contest with the leading scorer in Jill Johnson, who had 22 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds. Shyla Osmond finished with game highs in both rebounds where she had 12, and in assists with 8.

 

The AMCATS (3-11, 0-1 GNAC) Sierra Johnson (Brockton, Mass.) continues to be a force on the court this season with her putting up 18 points and 5 rebounds. Amber Wilson (New York, NY) finished her second game with Anna Maria in double digits, with 10-points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist on her stat line. Joe Burke (Oxford, Mass.) finished with a team high in rebounds as she was able to pull down 7 boards.
