PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Basketball Team fell to Framingham State this evening 84-61 in non-conference action in the Fuller Center.
The Rams (5-2) were led by Mary Kate O'Day as she finished the contest with a game high 22 points, along with 4 assists and 2 rebounds. Emily Velozo completed the game just behind her with 14 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. Julia Sanborn compiled 8 rebounds for Framingham giving her a game high.
The AMCATS (1-9) struggled to find a rhythm on offense, as they finished the game shooting only 39% from the field. Sienna and Sierra Johnson (Brockton, Mass.) tied for the team high in points with 14 each. Sienna also had 3 assists and 4 rebounds in the contest, while Sierra had 2 steals and 3 rebounds. Hailey Moore (Worcester, Mass.) finished with a team high 5 rebounds to go along with her 7 points. Franny Hammond (Worcester, Mass.) led the team with her 4 assists, along with her 8 points.
