PAXTON, Mass: The Anna Maria Women's Basketball team came up short to Nichols College this evening in non-conference action 62-57 in Dudley Massachusetts.
The Bison (2-3) were led by Mekaela Fithian-Giantonio who ended the game with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Isabella Nerney was right behind her with 15 points including 5 rebounds of her own and 3 assists. Jessica Larsh finished with a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing a game high 10 rebounds. Larsh was also able to end with 6 assists and 5 steals.
The AMCATS (0-8) Sierra Johnson (Brockton, Mass.) finished with another team high 16 points to go along with her 6 rebounds. Her sister Sienna Johnson (Brockton, Mass.) completed the game with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Johanna Burke (Oxford, Mass.) accumulated a team high 9 rebounds for Anna Maria, along with 2 assists and 5 points.
