2018-19 Women's Basketball Schedule Preview
PAXTON, Mass: With the season opener a week away here is a look at the 2018-19 Women's Basketball schedule for the Anna Maria AMCATS.
Going into his 7th season as the AMCATS head coach, Kevin Bigelow was able to bring in four first year players along with two transfers and a graduate student. The seven new players to the program will be joining the five returning players from the previous season.
Anna Maria will open the season on November 9th on the road as they play Keene State in the KSC Tip-Off Tournament starting at 3:30 PM. The home opener and only home game in the month will be on the 14th of November against rival Becker College. That game is slated to start action at 6:00 PM in the Fuller Center. The AMCATS will go on to play five games in a row on the road, to then play five straight at home.
The Home and away split for the season has the team playing fourteen away to just eleven home games within the twenty-five game schedule. Conference play will begin for Anna Maria on January 8th, and will last until the end of the season on February 12th.
The AMCATS non-conference schedule will include competitive games against Clark University, Framingham State, and Gordon. While the Conference schedule will include a game with #17 St. Joe's (ME) at home on January 19th at 2:00 PM.
