Pryor Nets Career High 30 Points in Lady AMCATS Season Finale

Nashua, New Hampshire – Anna Maria College junior guard Katie Pryor poured in a career-high 30 points for the AMCATS in a season ending 95-84 loss to Rivier College in women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Rivier improves to 19-6 and finishes with a 9-2 mark in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. Anna Maria completed the 2014 campaign with an 11-14 overall record and a 4-7 GNAC mark.

Three different Raiders led the team with 16 points each as senior AJ Guidi (Derry, NH) knocked down 5 three pointers and junior Deanna Purcell (Hudson, NH) went 9-of-10 from the line for the team high in points. Joining both Guidi and Purcell was freshman Savanna Butterfield (Londonerry, NH) who recorded another double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Senior Erin Sweeney (Chicopee, Mass.) also added 14 points in the win.

Anna Maria received a solid effort from Taylor Walker who added 16 points and Trafficia Warburton chipped in 15 in the loss. Warburton also collected a team high 9 rebounds in the contest.

The eleven wins are the most by the AMCATS since 2001 when they posted 12 victories.
