NORTH MYRTLE, SC: The Anna Maria College softball team opened their 2022 season at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The AMCATS lost 8-0 to LaRoche in the opener before coming up short in a 7-1 loss to Eureka.

AMCAT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Sophomore third baseman Kiara Edmonds (Lynn, MA) went three-for-five on the day,
- Senior Sabrina Liston (Rehoboth, MA) had two hits at the plate while fanning two.
- Sophomore pitcher Eden Forget (Worcester, MA) struck out four batters.
- Senior Kassandra Register (Bakersfield, CA) plated the AMCATS sole run of the day again Eureka, doubling home senior Michelle Cilley (Dracut, MA) to tie it up at 1-1.
