PAXTON, Mass.—The Anna Maria College cross country team competed at the annual Worcester City Invitational on Friday afternoon alongside fellow Worcester schools - Assumption, Clark, Fitchburg State, Worcester State, and WPI.

Darren Beliveau (Baldwinville, Mass.) was two slots behind him, clocking in with a time of 36:09. WPI won the men's race by claiming seven of the top eight slots. Assumption, Worcester State, Clark, and Fitchburg State finished second through fifth, respectively.

WPI also won on the women's side with an average team time of 20:19.80. Assumption placed second, followed by Clark, Worcester State, and Fitchburg State.
